Michael Jackson's Doctor Charged With Involuntary Manslaughter

This morning, Dr. Conrad Murray, was charged with involuntary manslaughter for the death of Michael Jackson. In a courtroom in Los Angeles, CA he pleaded "Not Guilty" to the charge. Members of the Jackson family were in the courtroom as well as numerous reporters from around the world.

The coroner's report indicates that Michael Jackson died of "acute propofol intoxication." Propofol is not to be used outside of a hospital setting, which is how Dr. Murray administred to Jackson. Dr. Murray was negligent and he has to face the consequences. My advice to Dr. Murray is to plead guilty.

This Is It, a film documenting Jackson's rehearsals for the series of fifty concerts at London's O2 Arena starts playing its limited two week run in movie theaters on October 27, 2009. To conmemorate and compliment the film, a compilation album was released today. It features the title song 'This Is It' as well as remastered versions of well known hits that were to be performed at his shows. Devoted fans will definetly purchase the whole album, casual fans may opt to get the 'Selections From Michael Jackson's This Is It' which inludes the 'This Is It' single as well as unreleased versions of his hits and a beautiful spoken poem. Britney Spears' New Single '3' to Debut at Number 1!

Congratulations to Britney, her newest single '3' will debut at #1 on the Billboard HOT 100 tomorrow on October 15. With 225,000 downloads on it's first week, it also debuts at #1 on the Digital Songs chart. Coincidentally, '3' is her 3rd #1 on the big chart. Her last #1 hit was Womanizer, and her debut single '...Baby, One More Time' was also #1 on the HOT 100. Do you guys think that the controversy surrounding the song helped it, or did it hold it back? Boyzone singer Stephen Gately is dead at 33

Stephen Gately reported went to sleep while vacationing in the island of Majorca, and never woke up. The cause of death is still unknown. He was openly gay, coming out to 10 years ago among a media frenzy in the pop world. Ronan Keating is said to be devastated by the sudden death of his friend, and is reportedly flying out to Mjorca with the rest of the bandmates. He is survived by his husband of 3 years, Andrew Cowles.
